This dip has really grown on me. When I first tried it, I couldn’t believe how yummy it was! The combination of all these different flavors creates something you have to taste to believe. And with lots of beans and veggies, you don’t have to feel guilty about coming back for more!
The best part about this dip is the ability to customize it to your own favorite tastes. Add more sugar for a sweeter taste, less peppers and onion for less of a bite, or even add feta cheese for a whole new flavor. Think of this recipe as a base for creating your very own delicious party dip.
First, make sure you drain and rinse all the canned ingredients. Then dump them into a large bowl.
Cut up the peppers, onion and cilantro. Add them to the large bowl.
Mix together the sugar, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic salt, chili powder and the juice of two limes in a separate bowl.
Add the liquid mixture to the large bowl and give everything a good mix. Place in an airtight container and make sure you refrigerate it for at least an hour before serving.
Grab some tortilla chips and dive in!
